Design City. Inspired by the famous Venetian Hotel

Every year, hundreds of thousands of Israelis visit Ben Gurion Airport and fly to a variety of destinations for vacations and trips overseas. The coronavirus has devoured the cards and it seems that the vacation abroad is getting farther and farther away. If it is impossible to travel abroad, the closest thing is to feel like abroad.
The world is a source of inspiration in a variety of fields – restaurants, cultural and leisure centers, fashion and more. Israeli real estate is also inspired by abroad, as companies and entrepreneurs adopt trends they have seen in other countries and implement them in Israel.

The peace agreement with the United Arab Emirates will surely turn the magnificent architecture that characterizes Dubai’s skyscrapers into another source of inspiration for tower designers in Israel.

Venice in Eilat

Yossi Avrahami and Almogim will establish the Venice project in Eilat’s lagoon. This is a luxurious and unique project, the first of its kind in Israel, which combines parking adjacent to a yacht in some of the apartments. The project was designed by Tito Oman Architects, inspired by the city of Venice in Italy.

The project is located in the area of hotels and the Ice Mall mall, and will be the only residential complex in this area. It will spread over 13 dunams and will include four 5-6-story buildings with about 115 housing units. The mix includes 2-5-room apartments, penthouses and garden apartments with a yacht dock. The areas range from 50 to 150 square meters, and there will also be a pool, gym, residents’ club and more. The initial price for the apartment is expected to be about NIS 1.7 million.

According to architect Sami Tito, owner of Tito-Uman Architects, “As Israel’s main resort city, Eilat joins similar cities around the world such as Las Vegas, Macau and more, where unique concept projects have been established. The colorfulness of Venice combined with its picturesqueness inspired the architectural design. The Venetian architectural character, together with lighting, color and materials, makes the Venice project a unique architectural icon in the Eilat desert landscape, and the first of its kind in Israel.”
