t the time we visited – midweek during the month of June – the traffic in the place was relatively sparse. Here and there couples walked around with an interior designer, design enthusiasts took a guided tour, and there was also the launch of a branch of the SWISS SYSTEM store chain. In the branch, interior designer Liad Yosef designed seven sleeping spaces for inspiration, to simulate the real thing for visitors. Most of them, it becomes clear from a conversation with the CEO of the chain Itzik Peled, come to choose an adjustable bed or a smart bed, while the demand for mattresses alone is decreasing.

In the ninth branch of the Swiss System chain, the smart and adjustable beds stand out in particular, which are taking more and more market share. “Advanced sleep solutions”, they call it. For example, at the launch of the branch, the SMART BED system developed by the American company ERGOMOTION was introduced. what’s in it The system has artificial intelligence sensors that monitor hundreds of parameters at any given moment and produce a detailed report at the end of sleep with all possible sleep indicators to improve the quality of sleep. “Swiss System aims to improve the quality of sleep of the public in Israel,” says Itzik Peled, From the owners of the chain, “It is important for us to give the possibility of the best sleep and thus provide a perfect quality of life. Those who sleep straight will also function better throughout the day 

The complex was built with an investment of NIS 700 million by the entrepreneur Hanoch Kass and was inspired by the huge outlets in the United States, located outside the big cities, and in a Las Vegas-style design. What is the practice? We will not deny, it is a huge and impressive structure, literally a pate morgana in the middle of a relatively deserted and arid area. The large building is decorated in a classic style, with a piazza that houses mostly restaurants and cafes and is covered with a ceiling illustrated with bright skies, classic Italian-style buildings, bridges, and even gondolas – the Middle East version of The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. The complex was designed by architect Shlomo Gartner, who said in past interviews that he moved as far as possible away from modern style and preferred a classic style inspired by Herod’s palaces, built not far from Roman influences.
